Good Times for a Good Cause

Thanks to some beautiful weather, great oysters, and delicious Bloody Mary recipes, the 2026 was one of the biggest ever. Inlet Leisure was able to help raise over $25,000 for the Sea Beyond Foundation's "Balloons Blow" project. This project is aimed at educating the public on the harmful practice of releasing balloons into the air. The practice has become common in celebrations of weddings, gender reveals, birthdays, or remembering the passing of a loved one. Unfortunately, what goes up must come down, and these balloons often come down in our ocean and are ingested by wildlife. Sea Beyond has created a public awareness campaign, not jus for the Grand Strand, but for State of SC. They are also pushing State lawmakers to pass Bill H.3047 which would make it illegal in S.C. You will be seeing their TV commercial and billboards very soon. Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting this effort.
